CMS Website Design

The Project:

The Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP) was looking for an experienced web design and development company to update their existing website in order to better provide information and updates to their members and showcase their substantial benefits to potential new members. AFCP maintains an active industry presence and their new site needed to allow for ease of updating without the need for knowledge of complicated programming or scripts and a means to showcase their events and conferences.

The Solution:

Through our in-depth project evaluation process, ACS, was able to discover the expected rituals of AFCP’s target audience for both important returning members and for new prospective members and reacted by creating a design that balances these needs in an effective manner. ACS also created a customized content management system that allows AFCP’s administrators to manage existing content and create new content in an intuitive, secure and easy manner. Throughout this redesign we also took in account mobile and tablet usage and created a responsive website design that opens up AFCP to an ever increasing market of on the go users.

Responsive Website Design

It is projected that over 5 billion people will use mobile phones by 2017. Currently, over 60% of all mobile phone owners in the US use a smartphone. Mobile optimized sites are proven to generate nearly twice the average traffic per user compared to traditional websites. Responsive Website design is now a requirement for conducting serious business on the web.

Client Feedback:

In interviewing various website design companies to upgrade our existing website, we found that ACS was the most focused on developing a site that would meet our needs and objectives rather than trying to push us toward something that would be easy for them or that was a "cookie cutter" design they already built. The end result is a site that has gained high reviews from our member base for its ease of use, professional appearance and extensive content. Thank you ACS, for providing us a website that we can be proud to present to our new and potential members and that serves all of our association's web objectives!!
