Compassionate Family Medicine (CFM) is a multi-location primary care practice with deep roots in the Syracuse, New York community. Dr. Ted J. Triana, DO, founded the practice more than two decades ago with a mission centered on making quality healthcare accessible to everyone, particularly those who face barriers to receiving care. Today, CFM operates five locations across Downtown Syracuse, North Syracuse, Lyncourt, Baldwinsville, and Cicero, providing services that range from pediatrics and internal medicine to addiction treatment, diabetes management, and women's health.
To better serve their patients and support practice growth, Compassionate Family Medicine partnered with ACS Web Design & SEO for a comprehensive website redesign.
The previous website was built on a Tebra template platform, and over time it had accumulated significant issues. Broken links, non-functional web forms including patient-facing forms critical to care access, and outdated provider information made the site increasingly difficult for patients to use with confidence.
An audit of the existing site also revealed 38 PDF documents, many of which were outdated or no longer necessary. For a practice that serves a large number of Medicaid and Medicare patients, refugees, and immigrants from diverse cultural backgrounds, the website needed to do more than simply exist. It needed to be clear, welcoming, and easy to navigate for patients who may be unfamiliar with the U.S. healthcare system, who may speak English as a second language, or who may be less comfortable with complex website layouts.
The template-based design of the old site offered limited control over branding, accessibility, and search engine optimization. CFM needed a custom medical website design that could grow with the practice, serve patients across all five locations, and communicate the inclusive, compassionate care that defines their mission.
ACS Web Design and SEO delivered a custom medical website design that made care more accessible for patients, achieving our client's project goals.
