The Project:
Green Mountain Food Service is a wholesale cash-and-carry grocery store located in Whitehall, NY which also offers delivery to eastern New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Previously, ACS Web Design & SEO created PDF documents that highlighted Green Mountain Food Services' monthly specials. To make updating and showcasing these monthly specials easier, Green Mountain Food Service partnered with ACS Web Design & SEO for a website redesign. Additionally, the site needed a mobile-friendly design that worked equally well on smartphones, tablets and laptop. The site also required integrated email marketing, allowing for customers to sign up for a mailing list that would send emails detailing Green Mountain Food Services’ monthly specials. The site also required a custom content management system (CMS) to allow site administrators to update products and site content.
The Solution:
ACS Web Design & SEO created a mobile-friendly website in an eCommerce environment. The site has a dedicated section for monthly specials and a can't-miss button prompt to view monthly specials. The new Green Mountain Food Service site allows customers to browse Green Mountain Food Services' grocery products while streamlining customers' shopping experience by allowing customers to add items to a shopping list that can be printed and brought to the store. ACS Web Design & SEO also successfully integrated a secure mailing list sign up form on the new site. The new site also features a custom content management system (CMS), allowing for secure, convenient updates to products and site content.
