ACS Web Design & SEO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced web developer to join our growing team. A qualified candidate will have a minimum 5 years of experience in web application and website development, using ASP.NET (Core) MVC, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. A candidate must have knowledge of web standards, cross-browser development, progressive enhancement, and clean coding standards. A candidate will often have the opportunity to work on new and exciting greenfield projects, with coworkers specializing in various aspects of website and application development.
A qualified candidate will have experience in the following:
- Microsoft .NET Framework and/or .NET Core with C#
- ASP.NET (Core) MVC/Web API
- SQL and ORM technologies (Entity Framework, Dapper, etc.)
- Custom application development
- Custom Content Management System (CMS) Development
- Basic JavaScript and JavaScript library/framework development (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as alone (with someone available to answer questions)
Recommended, but not required:
- Knowledge of distributed source control (Mercurial, Git, etc.)
- Umbraco CMS Development
- Microsoft Windows Server/Azure App Service and IIS management
- Experience with multiple programming languages (polyglot)
This position is heavily based on server side development, and does not require design experience (although general knowledge of front-end technologies is required, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
The position is in Liverpool, NY and is a full-time intermediate level position.
Annual Compensation Range: $55,000 - $85,000
