The Project:
Mohegan Manor is the most historic building in Baldwinsville, New York. The Mohegan Manor building houses multiple restaurants as well as Mohegan Manor’s wedding and reception hall. To better showcase Mohegan Manor’s capabilities in hosting wedding ceremonies and receptions, Mohegan Manor partnered with ACS Web Design & SEO to upgrade the Mohegan Manor Weddings website. The Mohegan Manor Weddings website needed an updated, modern look, including an attractive aesthetic that embodied the beauty of the Mohegan Manor Weddings location. In addition to an improved design, the site also needed to appeal to Mohegan Manor Weddings’ target audience of potential brides, potential grooms and wedding planners. Additionally, the site needed an announcements feature that could be easily managed by a site administrator. To maintain Mohegan Manor Weddings rapid response in their sales cycle, our client also needed site leads to be sent via text message.
The Solution:
The new Mohegan Manor Weddings website is an expression of the location’s aesthetic elegance, including a modern, mobile-friendly design and an attractive look that includes custom typography that balances beauty and legibility. The site includes easy-to-find information important to people planning a wedding, including an image gallery to help potential customers envision their event at Mohegan Manor, as well as pricing and features on wedding packages. As well as the public-facing features needed in the Mohegan Manor Weddings site, the site is built with an intuitive custom content management system (CMS), allowing site administrators to securely update site announcements with no knowledge of programming languages required. Additionally, the site’s tour scheduling form submissions are sent as a text message to Mohegan Manor Weddings, allowing Mohegan Manor Weddings to respond to leads soon after they’re received.
