The Project:
Crouse Medical Practice was formed through the consolidation of multiple medical practices with various specialties. With Crouse Medical Practice being a new brand with several specialties and office locations, Crouse Medical Practice needed a new website featuring intuitive information architecture, making it easy for users to find what they’re looking for. Because Crouse Medical Practice was formed from pre-existing brands, it was important that the site was migrated properly to prevent decreased visibility on search engines and to avoid confusion for patients of the former medical practices that now form Crouse Medical Practice. Education and accessibility is important in the medical industry, so the Crouse Medical Practice site needed to provide secure, convenient access to a patient portal and intake forms. The site also needed an easily updatable events system. Patients also needed to be able to book an appointment online.
The Solution:
ACS Web Design & SEO prioritized information architecture throughout the development process, resulting in an easy-to-use navigation that streamlines finding sought after content. We also performed a successful SEO migration for all medical practice sites that now form Crouse Medical Practice. This SEO migration ensured Crouse Medical Practice would continue to hold earned positions on search engines that were achieved by medical practices that now comprise Crouse Medical Practice. Additionally, our SEO migration efforts resulted in the new site appearing on search engines when patients search for one of the former medical practices that now exist as part of Crouse. The site also features a secure patient portal that allows patients to download and complete intake forms, making the appointment process easier for patients and our client. Through working with a third-party vendor, ACS successfully integrated appointment booking on the Crouse Medical Practice site, allowing current and potential patients to set appointments by office location or physician. The Crouse Medical Practice site is also built with a custom content management system (CMS) that allows site administrators to quickly and easily update the site’s events section without needing to know programming languages.
