Whitaker’s Sports Shop, an existing ACS Web Design & SEO client, needed updated security for their online tackle shop. In addition to improved eCommerce safety features, Whitaker’s site needed accessible information that’s relevant to fishing enthusiasts. They also needed a user-friendly content management system (CMS) to easily and efficiently make daily updates to the site’s daily reports and local fly patterns.
The Solution:
The new Whitaker’s Sports Shop site features upgraded safety software, ensuring safety and privacy for customer’s personal and financial information when ordering online. In addition to a secure online checkout that allows for online shopping with all major credit cards, the new whitakers.com features a mobile-friendly design. ACS also fulfilled our client’s need for accessible, fishing specific information; sunrise and sunset times and water temperature are prominently featured on the home page, making it easy for fishers to plan their day on the water. With an intuitive custom content management system (CMS), Whitaker’s can make daily website updates without needing any advanced computer skills.
